Original Character Audition
Name: Molly Martinez
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Occupation: On the technical support team for the hospital.
Personality: Molly's a pretty quiet person. She has a friend here and there in tech support, but other than that, her social life is almost none existant. She's always been a shy person by nature, and she doesn't like to make to initiative for most things. Those who are friends with her would probably would describe her as something of a computer nerd, considering how much talent she has on one, and they've pushed her to make it a career, though she isn't currently going to school.
Appearance: Molly pretty much blends into the crowd. She's half Hispanic and half white, making her skintone a light brown color. Her hair is thick, wavy and somewhat frizzy. She's got eyes the same color of that hair: dark, dark brown. She's a little overweight, but doesn't really bother to fix that. She's of average height as well, around 5'5". All in all, she presents herself in an average way, but has been known every blue moon to do herself up.
History: Her mother and father both raised her, giving her a somewhat normal raising. She grew up in a very small town in rural Texas, but moved with her father when she was seventeen because of his job. Molly had never really connected with New Jersey because she had grown up in a town where she knew absolutely everyone, and was ripped away from that a year before finishing high school, leaving her to have some dislike for her new home.
Other: Absolutely nothing.
Roleplay Sample: If one could drink a cup of coffee in a frustrated way, that was precisely what Mr. Mark Cohen was doing as he stood in front of a large screen, shaking his head back and forth at what he was seeing. It wasn't good--it was never good, though.
He adjusted his glasses, again, in a frustrated way, if one could. He hadn't been able to get another good idea out after his older masterpiece, nearly five years ago. So he decided he would film things he found particularly interesting, and hoped a theme would pop out at him. Well, he'd been doing that for about a year, now, and so far...nothing.
He stopped the film in front of him, rubbing his eyes slightly. He wasn't sure if he was ever going to get another hit out, not like his last one. Nothing seemed right, no matter what he did. Everything he cut up and watched back over just wasn't him.
He adjusted the sweatervest he wore that cold night, the night before Christmas Eve. Underneath that was just a regular shirt, and a pair of khakis sat on what would have been his hips, had he not gotten so skinny these past few months. He wanted nothing more than to shell out another hit--at least one more.
