House MD Canon Character Application
Name: Stacy Warner
Position at PPTH: Lawyer
Personality: She's a pretty strong woman, with a very 'go get 'em' attitude. She likes to think of herself as an excellent lawyer, and very good at persuading others around her. Her relationship with House taught her to be a little more independent. Her biting sarcasm can match wits with the best of them, including House and Cuddy, though she realizes it has no place in professional life.
Appearance: She's of average height, and is a little bit on the skinny side. Her hair is short, thin and a very dark color, matching that of her eyes.
History: She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but didn't spend a lot of time there at all. Her family moved to Short Hills, New Jersey for her mother and father to open their own firm together. Stacy had a relatively normal childhood, sharing it with a younger brother of four years, who is now on the other side of the country.
She met House, unsurprisingly, at a strip club. She was with some of her partners in the firm, and he was with a bachelor's party. The first night they were together he kicked her out, but then returned to ask her to dinner, and for some reason she accepted. They were in love, but never got married. When House had his infarction, she made the decision that would definitely ruin their relationship, though she was just trying to save his life. The relationship dragged on for a few more months, before finally it was over.
Two years later she married a man named Mark Warner, and three years later, he had to be treated by Dr. House. She went to work at Princeton Plainsboro as a lawyer for the first time to help her husband through his physical therapy. She got closer to House, and she unfortunately had an affair with him. She ripped herself away from him.
Her marriage with Mark Warner drifted off after he found out for sure they had slept together, and when they finally got a divorce, Stacy found herself back at Princeton Plainsboro.
Other: She always wears a crucifix, given to her by her late mother.
Roleplay Sample: ((I'll just use the same one. Neh.))
If one could drink a cup of coffee in a frustrated way, that was precisely what Mr. Mark Cohen was doing as he stood in front of a large screen, shaking his head back and forth at what he was seeing. It wasn't good--it was never good, though.
He adjusted his glasses, again, in a frustrated way, if one could. He hadn't been able to get another good idea out after his older masterpiece, nearly five years ago. So he decided he would film things he found particularly interesting, and hoped a theme would pop out at him. Well, he'd been doing that for about a year, now, and so far...nothing.
He stopped the film in front of him, rubbing his eyes slightly. He wasn't sure if he was ever going to get another hit out, not like his last one. Nothing seemed right, no matter what he did. Everything he cut up and watched back over just wasn't him.
He adjusted the sweatervest he wore that cold night, the night before Christmas Eve. Underneath that was just a regular shirt, and a pair of khakis sat on what would have been his hips, had he not gotten so skinny these past few months. He wanted nothing more than to shell out another hit--at least one more.
Do You Want To Play This Character For The Crossover, Too?: No ]:
If Yes, Will You Be Willing to Give One of These RPs Up Should Another Auditioner Ask?: Hm, I suppose not.
